Abstract: | Increased attention has been given by governments to reporting on the condition of the environment and deciding on ways of addressing environmental problems. Various activities of this nature currently taking place in Canada are described and assessed. It is concluded that the Canadian experience has many noteworthy features, both in the technical methods of production and the ways of incorporating diverse viewpoints into environmental reports and agendas. |
