Transport and redistribution of Chernobyl fallout radionuclides by fluvial processes: Some preliminary evidence

Several measurements of¹³⁷Cs concentrations in suspended sediment transported by the River Severn during the post-Chernobyl period and in recent channel and floodplain deposits along the river emphasise the potential significance of fluvial processes in the transport and concentration of fallout radionuclides.
