| Abstract: | This paper describes the principles and methods of mine gas pre ?drainage through vertical boreholes, and horizontal boreholes that are drilled from the surface using directional drilling. It focuses on the advantages of under-balanced" drilling of vertical boreholes, and directional drilling of horizontal boreholes in a "pinnate pattern in increasing the permeability of coal seams and efficiency of gas pre - drainage. |
