The oil wastewater is comes from many source,complex ingredient and polluted badly.Adsorption method is often used to process the oil wastewater,adsorption capacity is important to the process the oil wastewater,the typical adsorbing material included：active carbon,oil-adsorption resin,fly ash,bentonite;the active carbon was often used to process the oil wastewater,oil-adsorption resin is a new kind organic adsorbent,the fly ash was enough and cheap,bentonite was also enough.Every kind of the material have its own advantage and defect,the characteristics,adsorption mechanism and application of absorbing material are also different.By comparing and analyzing,some prospects in adsorbing material to treat oil wastewater are also presented.
