Abstract:This paper introduced common aging test methods of automobile interior materials: artificial accelerated aging test,IP / DP box exposure and full vehicle exposure,and discussed specification and operation of the three test methods.Artificial accelerated aging test can quickly acquire the aging properties of automotive interior materials,shorten product development cycle.The aging tests of interior finished products or their finished assemblies in IP / DP boxes and vehicles will reduce the risk of interior materials processing technology and ensure their quality.The data collected from full vehicle exposure provides reliable guidance for parameter setup on artificial accelerated aging test and IP / DP box exposure,and for related standards development and revision.
