A Review on Functional Testing of Chemical Protective Clothing

This article discusses the functional testing of chemical protective clothing （ CPC） , including chemical resistance testing, overall performance testing, physical properties testing, ergonomic testing. Before chemical protective clothing is evaluated , it should be exposed in the worst circumstances , in order to find out whether it can play a protective role long termly. Strictly testing must be conducted to determine the choices of the CPC products under the circumstances of directly contacting with the chemical substance. A review of the principles and processes of the CPC performance testing will help us to understand the overall performance of the CPC products and making better choices for the end users.
