Test and ev aluation of clothing heat-moisture comfort performance is a key step before the actual use of clothing, and the sweating manikin is the necessary means of testing and evaluation clothing heat-moisture comfort performance. Therefore, the testing indicators, testing standards and methods etc. of sweating manikin in clothing heat-moisture comfort are reviewed , and testing features of sweating manikin are analyzed , with emphases on the testing limitations of sweating manikin. Finally , the paper also introduces the testing method of numerical thermal manikin, and put forward a few proposition and prospect to sweating manikin.
