A Discussion about Development Trend of Major Treatment Technology for Sugar Industrial Wastewater

The wastewater from the sugar industry is a kind of organic wastewater with high concentration. It could be classified as low, middle or high concentration depending on its pollution degree. The major treatment process of the wastewater includes physical - chemical process, biochemical process and the composite process of the different treatment methods. This article gives a general review of the wastewater treatment process, and points out their pros and cons, in order to provide a reference. Finally the development trend of the wastewater treatment technology is proposed.
