| Abstract: | Based on the data of land use/cover in 1980,1995,2005 and 2015,the spatial pattern variation of wetland in the Yang⁃tze River Economic Belt was analyzed.The results show that:(1)the wetlands in the Economic Belt are mainly distributed in the middle and lower reaches of the Yangtze River;(2)from 1980 to 2015,the wetlands in the Economic Belt disappeared as well as survived;the river wetlands and marsh wetlands showed a decreasing trend,while the wetlands of the lakes and the ponds in⁃creased;as a whole,the wetlands showed an increasing trend;(3)the wetlands in the Economic Belt were divided into seven key types,and corresponding protection and restoration strategies for them were proposed.The findings may provide reference for the protection and restoration of wetlands in the Economic Belt. |
