Abstract:In order to explore the reduction rule of different types of biochar on antibiotics and antibiotic resistance genes(ARGs)during pig manure composting,corn straw biochar,bamboo charcoal and pig manure biochar were added to pig manure for aerobic composting.The effects of different types of biochar on antibiotics concentration and ARGs abundance during pig manure composting were analyzed.The results showed that the average removal rate of antibiotics by adding bamboo charcoal composting was the highest(97%),and the removal rate of tetracycline antibiotics was 98%.The removal rates of 3 kinds of antibiotics by adding corn straw biochar composting were the lowest in all treatments,and the average removal rate was 84%,with the removal rate of sulfonamide antibiotics only 74%.The average removal rate of antibiotics by adding pig manure biochar composting was 90%,the removal rate of tetracycline antibiotics was high(94%),and the removal rate of sulfonamide antibiotics was low(80%),so it was selective.The total abundance of ARGs decreased the most by adding bamboo charcoal composting(48%),and the abundance of qnrS decreased by 97%.The abundance of ARGs decreased by 23%,and the abundance of sul 2 increased by corn straw biochar composting.The abundance of ARGs and sul 3 decreased by 36%and 2%,respectively by adding pig manure biochar composting.Therefore,compared with adding corn straw biochar and pig manure biochar,adding bamboo charcoal composting had the best effect on reducing antibiotics and ARGs.
