On Sustainable Development and City Developing Strategy

Analysis on traditional development concept and developing model which present limitation and shortage, to introduce the formation process of sustainable developing strategy, core thought and basic content and the affected force to the development of the future world. Taking Shanghai urban development as the target, in accordance with the strategic thought of sustainable development, to put forward that to construct an international metropolis, great attention should be paid to urban planning, regulation of industrial structure, developing the third industry forcely, promoteing industrial cleaner production, ameliorating urban energy structure, and in priority of developing urban environmental construction etc, and the countermeasure should be adopted.
