The main reason is that the reflector is complex, the more reflected waves, and the defect wave is hard to be judged, and especially, some defect waves are difficult to distinguish between the reflected waves in the work piece interface. Therefore, in the past, experienced and high-level inspecting personnel could be competent for detecting complex work piece, which had greatly restricted the development of the flaw detection industry. With the development of science and technology, the application of phased array technology has provided good guidance for the detection in the direction of detecting complex work piece. It shows intuitive and accurate judgment, which can greatly reduce the difficulty of detection, and especially in the detection of some complicated interface pieces, the advantages of visual display can be more fully displayed.
