Analysisof Environmental Quality of Nanjing

The atmosphere environmental quality, water environmental quality and noise environmental quality of Nanjing during The Ninth Five Years Planning period were surveyed. The environmental quality was stable developing during The Ninth Five Years Planning period, the reasons included that pollutants in main pollution sources was discharged in accordance with state emission standard, urban environmental comprehensive management had make great progress, the total quantity control was implemented, and legal enforcement was strengthened. During Tenth Five Years Planning period, Nanjing need focus on the goal of integrity of environmental pollution prevention and control and ecological protection to improve the quality of Nanjing and to protect public health.
