| Abstract: | A series of mathematical formulae of calculating dilution ratios are introduced. Through analyzing the principle and application of these formulae,the advantages and disadvantages of different dilution ratios are shown. A correction formula is also discussed to take out mistake from the long period of BOD5 determination. |
