Abstract:Deterministic and probabilistic human health risk assessment approaches were used to derive the surface screening levels of contaminants for Dicofol manufacturing equipment under industrial and demolition exposure scenarios.It was found that the surface screening levels of p,p′-DDT,p,p′-DDD and p,p′-DDE based on the deterministic calculation under the industrial exposure scenario were 0.224 mg/m2,0.214 mg/m2 and 0.151 mg/m2,respectively,while the surface screening levels of these pollutants under the demolition exposure scenario were 9.68 mg/m2,10.7 mg/m2 and 7.57 mg/m2,respectively.Surface screening levels derived by Monte Carlo-based probabilistic risk assessment were more conservative under the same scenarios.Uncertainty analysis indicated that HTME,EV and SAg were sensitive parameters.
