| Abstract: | After the industrial revolution, pollution accident had break out frequently on the major European river basins. European countries as a union discussed strategies to conduct environmental management of rivers based on river basin. Finally they significantly improved the environmental quality of the basin water. To analyze the international cross-boundary management of the River Rhine, and based on the research about the early warning system for the Danube River, the experiences of cross-boundary environmental management are summarized, which provide some references for cross-boundary management of water environment in China. |
