Discussion on Scientific Management of Environmental Monitoring Stations in Prefecture-level Cities:An Example from Huai’an Environmental Monitoring Center

According to the management practice of environment monitoring in Huai’an Environmental Monitoring Center, this work briefly describes the target position of environment monitoring and the software and hardware that facilitate achievement of the envi-ronment monitoring target. The main pathway towards realization of the goal is through systematic management, public information sharing, modernization of technical means, institutionalized daily work, and flat functional roles.
