| 摘 要： | 简要统计了2003年5—8月国内发生的各种环境事件127件，包括沙尘天气(1件)、污染事件(18件)、山体滑坡和泥石流(39件)、地震(15件)、虫害(9件)以及其他自然灾害(45件)。最后对洪涝、地质灾害和旱灾进行了讨论。

| Abstract: | The present paper summarizes the major environmental accidents in China during the period from May to August the year 2003. These accidents are classified into six categories (Tables 1-6) , i. e. dust storm, pollution accidents, landslide and mud-rock flow, earthquake, insect pest, as well as natural calamities. Total 1, 18, 39, 15, 9 and 45 major events are reported with their detailed statistics on the casualty, places, and the nature of the accidents respectively. Causes are also listed which actually led to the 127 events. In addition, discussions are also extended at the end of the paper, on the disasters. The losses and the characteristics of the disaster are presented and discussed. |
