| Abstract: | In this article the mechanism of the thermal breaking of window glass and it's main affacting factors have been studied and discussed by means of the theories of mini cracks and thermal stress,and the heat transfer model in compartment fires . A method of predicting the time to the breakage of window glass is also presented. The thermal breaking tests have been carried out and the mode of the breakage and it's conditions are generalized. |
