Abstract:The explosive characteristics of micron-grade aluminum dust is investigated in 1.3L Hartmann bomb.The relationship between the maximum pressure pmax,the maximum rate of pressure rise(dp/dt)max and ignition delay time t,dust concentration c,diameter d is analyzed.The numerical model of aluminum dust explosion in Hartmann bomb is established based on the CFD software.The flame propagation is analyzed according to the numerical results.The comparison of pmax,(dp/dt)max between numerical and experimental values...
