| Abstract: | The seismic basic intensity for Langfang City is Ⅷ degree The area has been affected by both moderate distant and near earthquakes The area is characterized by high background seismic intensity but rather low probability of earthquake occurrences In the present paper, the method of shock isolation design of frame buildings is studied, taking the characteristics of the ground motion acceleration parameters into consideration and some actual examples are given too |
