| Abstract: | In the present paper a brief outline and review has been given of the features of the earthquake rumor occurrences and development in Anhui Province in the twenty odd years' period of 1976 1988 (a period with only a few and week earthquakes) The experiences in stopping urgently the earthquake rumors have also been outlined in the paper Finally,long term precautionary countermeasures against earthquake rumors have been suggested in consideration of the practical experiences |
