| Abstract: | This paper mainly deals with the significant effects of meteorological disasters, such as flood and drought, and pest disasters, for instance, crop diseases, insect pests, weed and rodents on agricultural production. It is described that efficacious development and utilization of biological resources are the effective way to mitigate and prevent disasters. The concrete contents for the research on how to strengthen the development and use of biological resources are presented. |
