| Abstract: | Wool scouring effluent from alkaline scouring process is the most difficult to be treated due to its high static repulsion and COD. Many methods were applied into treating woolscouring effluent, including flotation, flocculation, membrane filtration and biological treatment. Among these, flocculation was widely studied and applied. Most of the treatments that combined with other methods were to destroy the stability to realize the solid - liquid separation and removal of organic substances. |
