Abstract:Catalytic oxidation processes applied for the degradation of high concentration of refractory organic wastewater have been classified into three types based on the difference of the activating factors of catalysts ,i.e. wet catalytic oxidation ,photocatalytic oxidation and electrochemical catalytic oxidation. Their reaction mechanisms and application states have been reviewed and further studies needed have been suggested.
