Abstract:: The contents distribution of Ba, Be, Cd, Co, Cr, Hg, Li, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sr, Ti, V, Zn, Zr in coal burning fly ash with different particle fraction, the proportion of their contents in fly ash to that in coal and their enrichment factors were studied. It is discovered that the grain size distribution of these elements was related to boiler types and burning patterns. In the fly ash produced by fine coal boiler and reciprocating grate boiler, the smaller the grain size, the greater the enrichment factors of most elements. But chute grate boiler has many distribution types. Although the mass percentages of elements were different among various boiler types, most of trace elements, generally speaking, existed in the particles with the diameter<0. 125 mm.
