Abstract:CdCO 3 can be produced by the spent froth cadmium electrode plate from Ni Cd battery through a process of dissolution extraction precipitation. The following conditions,such as dissolving active matter with H 2SO 4,extracting Cd from the solution with P 204 (D2EHPA),back extracting Cd from the organic phase with H 2SO 4 and precipitating Cd from the water phase of back extraction with Na 2CO 3 were all discussed.
