Analysis on Instability of Right Plastic Ring under Lateral Compression |

| Abstract: | The deformation of rigidplastic ring under lateral compression is studied in this paper .The ring is linear hardening one. When laterally compressed by rigid plates ,instability occurs. The cause of instability is discussed and the critical condition is given. |
