| Abstract: | Review on nature, symptoms and way of spread of Cytosporidium and Cryptosporidiosis were presented, and main water-borne infection and its revelation to water industry and water source protection were introduced and discussed, current situation of cryptosporidium analysis and related drinking water quality criteria development were summerized. Efficient processes for removing or disinfecting oocysts were recommended. Based on analysis under different conditions in China or abroad, it was suggested that controlling effluent turbidity, protecting water sources and insisting drinking boiled water are the main measures for preventing outbreak of Cryptosporidiosis in China. |
