海藻酸钠和聚乙烯醇作为固定化微生物包埋剂的研究

摘    要:分别以海藻酸钠和聚乙烯醇为包埋剂,包埋固定微生物,采用正交试验法,以固定化微生物对TOC的去除率为主要指标,强度为辅助指标,确定包埋条件,并对其性能进行比较。研究结果表明,用聚乙烯醇为包埋剂的固定化小球强度及稳定性比用海藻酸钠的高,较适用于废水处理,但其传质性能有待进一步改善。

Abstract:In this study, two materials, namely, sodium algi-nate and polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) were used as entrapping agents to produce immobilized micro-bial beads. Through orthogonal test, the optimal conditions of entrapping were determined for the two agents by using TOC removal efficiency as the primary criterion and bead strength as the auxiliary criterion. Comparisons were also made ber- ween the properties of the two kinds of immobilized micirobial beads. It was observed that the beads made from PVA have higher stability and strength than those made from sodium, alginate, and are more suitable for wastewater treatment. However, their mass diffusivity should, be improved.
