Process of Urbanization in Sustainable Development of Yunnan

Urbanization is an inevitable trend when human beings enter into industrial society.To accelerate the process of urbanization in Yunnan,great efforts should be made to develop local distinctive economy so as to form city groups of different functions.The natural and ecological principles should be obeyed in planning the construction of small cities and towns.The ecological environment in large and medium sized cities and countryside should be preserved for a sound ecological system.
