| Abstract: | Shaoguan City lies in the mountainous area of northern Guangdong Province with various geological disasters harmful to people.This paper discusses the rules concerning the origin and development of geological disasters,proposes that they are closely linked to the geological and topographical conditions,climate and human behaviors,and puts forward the prevention and control measures by giving the priority to the former. |
