Abstract:A three-compartment system,comprising a up-flow anaerobic sludge bed(UASB),a membrane bioreactor(MBR) and nanofiltration(NF),was employed to treat landfill leachate.The design capacity of landfill leachate treatment plant was 100 m3/d.COD and BOD5 of landfill leachate were 10 000 mg/L and 5 000 mg/L,respectively.The results showed that the COD and BOD5 of effluent were 60 mg/L and 20 mg/L,and the removal rates of COD and BOD5 were 99.4% and 99.6%.The efficiency of landfill leachate treatment was steady.The ...
