Determination of Standard Sample with Biochemical Oxygen Demand Method

The biochemical oxygen demand （BOD） is oxygen amount consumed by microorganism to decompose oxidizable materials under certain conditions, especially the dissolved oxygen quantity consumed in biochemistry process. The determination of standard sample with BOD is an important index to determine whether a lab technician is qualified or not, as well as a key factor to determine the accuracy of environmental monitoring results. But the nature controls for standard samples and domestic sewage are two different concepts. This paper introduced the whole determination process of sample quality in detail. Through massive empirical data collection, it is proved that this method is reliably and effective.
