| Abstract: | In recent years, the occurrence of natural disasters makes the research into disaster-prevention a hot topic in the scientific field. As the only college affiliated to the bureau of disaster-prevention, the IDPST is responsible to develop such a science. This article discusses the importance of developing disaster economics and the knowledge needed to develop disaster economics. |
