Abstract:With cetyltrimethyl ammonium bromide(CTAB) surfactants as structure-directing agents,SiO2 was covered onto the surface of Fe3O4 nanoparticles and then covered with another layer of mesoporous SiO2 to form core-shell magnetic silica(MS).Then MS was modified with-SH to form a novel adsorbent support MMS,which is mesoporous and magnetizable,with a diameter of 300~450 nm,surface area of 469 m2/g,pore size of 3.1 nm,and saturation magnetization of 28.1 emu/g.MMS was applied to adsorb Cd2+ in the solution.Results...
