| Abstract: | This paper presents a new equipment for treating wastewater, which features a combination of a traditional activated sludge system and a fluidized bed bio reactor. When applied to the treatment of de inking wastewater, it has showed higher volumetric loading and less excess sludge than those of a traditional activated sludge system, the typical COD removal being 80%. |
