Management Measures and Policies of Hexachlorobenzene Control Based on the Analysis of Emission Sources in China

Based on the investigation and analysis of the literatures and data,this paper summarizes possible emission sources of hexachlorobenzene（HCB） in china and analyzes the characteristics and trends of unintentional HCB emissions from pesticides use,manufacturing emissions and combustion processes in China.In addition,management measures and policies about HCB are summarized and discussed.The results show that primary unintended emission sources of HCB include pesticides use,waste incineration and non-ferrous metal by-production,and little information of detailed emission can obtain from these sources in China.At present,there are sufficient laws and regulations about the production,use,storage and transportation of HCB,but the policies about unintentional HCB control is deficient,only some standards and industry norms are beneficial to unintentional HCB reduction in China.According to the emission sources and relevant policies analysis,the management measures and policies of HCB control of China are put proposed based on the developed countries correlative control countermeasures and emission sources analysis.
