The Roles of Plants in Constructed Wetlands and Species Selection

This paper mainly discusses the roles of plants in constructed wetlands and the principles of the selection of plants for constructed wetlands, and analyzes the key point of study in the future. Plants play important roles in constructed wetland, not only wipes out the pollutants, but also possesses economic value and ecological aesthetics value. The factors, such as the capacity of purification, the adaptability and so on, should be taken into account in the plant selection for constructed wetlands. Finally, it is pointed out what should be strengthened in plants study.
