| Abstract: | Arsenic is widely distributed in nature and also an important environmental pollutant. Exposure to arsenic compounds maycause acute and chronic poisoning. This paper briefly introduced the toxicity of arsenic including carcinogenicity,mutagenicity and terato-genicity as well as the current environmental health standards for arsenic in different countries. |
