Research on Oil Spill Risk Management and Control Techniques for Offshore Oil Facilities

Based on the analysis of risk for offshore oil facilities,the paper described oil spill risk management methods and control techniques.With comprehensive consideration of various factors such as facilities status,characteristics of sea areas,weather condition and personnel quality,the oil spill risk sources database and evaluation system were established,which could effectively prevent oil spill accidents by enhancing risk analysis and management.The major control techniques,which included oil spill monitoring,forecasting and alarming system and oil spill cleaning,were the key to reduce oil pollution damage.
