| Abstract: | Leather tanning sewage contains high concentration organic matters and a great volume of toxic and hazardous substances. It is hard to comply with discharge demand only when it is processed by physico-chemical treatment or bio-chemical treatment. The article gives emphasis to the leather tanning measures on production process; wastewater compostion and cleaner production, and summarizes status of wastewater treatment technology and examples applied successfully across the country. |
