摘    要:总结了生物活性炭(BAC)技术在净水处理、废水处理和污水再生利用处理中的应用;阐述了生物活性炭对污染物的去除机理;介绍了生物活性炭技术在水处理中(包括给水深度处理、多种工业废水及生活污水处理)的最新应用研究成果及该技术的发展方向。

Abstract:Biological activated carbon (BAC) technology applies granular activated carbon as filler in micro-polluted source water and wastewater treatment. The mechanism of BAC is to use the adsorption of activated carbon and the degradation of micro-organisms inside activated carbon layer, through the biofilm degradation of a part of pollutant which adsorbed by biofilm, and regeneration of activated carbon, which effectively extends the life time of active carbon. The paper summarizes the application of BAC in water treatment, wastewater treatment and wastewater reclamation. And it further elaborates the pollutants removal mechanism of BAC.
