Ecological theory of ecosystem health and its assessment method

Along with the development of society and economy, human beings badly impact on the ecosystem, and many scientists pay close attention to ecosystem health. From the view of subject development, this paper deals with the background, concept, ecological theory fundament of ecosystem heath and also deals with the relationship between ecosystem health and environmental management. The paper also introduces the assessment indexes system and assessment model for ecosystem health. Ecosystem health is at the stage of development, and there are some problems to be solved, we need to further develop the theory of ecosystem health and advanced technique and method to analyze and evaluate ecosystem health.
