An ecological viewpoint to analyze the cultural heritage and the water pollution mitigation in Wen-Rui Tang River,Wenzhou China

This paper described the cultural heritage and the current non-point source pollution of Wen-Rui Tang River in Wenzhou, China. The paper analyzed the historical environmental components associated with the cultural development, how the cultural factors influenced the local ecological systems during the formation and development processes of Wen-Rui Tang River. These cultural factors not only facilitated the cultural development and accumulations, but also affected the current polluted environment. Through the analysis, some effective measures, based on the ecological, cultural, and economic viewpoints, were suggested to mitigate and manage the pollution of Wen-Rui Tang River.
