Individual marking by using transponders represents a promising tool to further investigate causes of population trends of farmland invertebrates and the dynamics of farmland biodiversity. Once common in agricultural fields the slug Arion rufus is now restricted to forests, whereas the closely related and similar Arion lusitanicus recently built up high populations. Here, it was tested whether (1) transponder tagging combined with artificial shelters for recapturing is a suitable approach for quantifying adult survival of farmland gastropods under real field conditions, (2) whether captive bred and wild A. lusitanicus differ in survival, and (3) whether in agricultural fields the declining slug A. rufus shows reduced survival rates compared to the invasive slug A. lusitanicus. One hundred and thirty transponder-tagged slugs were released and individual-based mark-recapture models were performed. Individual marking by using transponders proved to be a successful method for quantifying survival rates of the slugs. The favoured model showed no differences in survival or encounter rates between captive bred and wild A. lusitanicus. A. rufus showed significantly reduced survival rates compared to A. lusitanicus coinciding with their population trends in farmland areas. This might be due to differential susceptibility to habitat degradation, differential predation rates or promotion of the invasive competitor species. A further decrease of A. rufus in agricultural landscapes is expected.  相似文献

对南水北调东线工程中的调蓄枢纽东平湖进行了考察.发现,目前东平湖仅存水生植物18种,覆盖度为51%.简要分析了1979年至今东平湖水生植物的衰退状况及其形成驱动力.根据调水状态下东平湖水环境将会发生的变化,系统探讨了调水工程对东平湖水生植物的可能影响.结果表明,二期工程物种多样性变化不大,分布面积将会有不同程度的下降,群落总体的断带状分布将更为典型;三期工程物种多样性将明显下降,种群结构趋向单一化,沉水植物仍将成为优势种群.  相似文献

对于太阳能干燥器的性能测试实验,本文采用红色朝天椒作为实验对象。实验表明,辣椒在烘干抽屉中的堆积厚度在2cm到6cm之间时,辣椒的干燥速率并不受到太大影响,而辣椒厚度再继续增加的时候,干燥速率开始明显下降。而热风温度越高,辣椒的干燥速率则明显加快。太阳能干燥设备相对自然晾晒提高了卫生条件和产品品质,与其他干燥设备相比,具有节能、低碳、低成本等优势。  相似文献

Prenatal paternity testing was evaluated by DNA analysis in chorionic villus biopsies obtained during the 7th-22nd weeks of gestation. Using highly polymorphic variable number of tandem repeats (VNTR) probes, we analysed four cases consisting of mother/child/alleged father trios. In all cases, we were able to detect maternal and paternal alleles and could establish or exclude paternity. The application of DNA analysis represents a new important diagnostic aid for all cases that require a prenatal identification of paternity.  相似文献

本文针对56个海洋行业监测检测实验室进行的海洋生物体中As和海洋沉积物中Cd含量测定结果,采用稳健统计技术(Robust statistical technique)方法进行了评价分析。结果表明,参加本次能力验证活动的大多数实验室检测能力良好,其出具的检测数据可信。少数实验室检测结果有问题或不满意,鼓励这些实验室认真查找问题,积极采取纠正措施,改进实验室管理和质量控制,提升并保持检测能力。研究表明,稳健统计技术在本次实验室能力验证结果评价中应用效果良好,真实全面的反应了各实验室检测能力现状。  相似文献

The paper reviews current concepts of toxicological evaluation of new drugs and other chemicals. Instead of completing a predetermined check-list toxicologists now consider the potential adverse effects of the substances under actual conditions of use. They then design experimental models which have a high probability to predict the toxic effects.
