Biodegradation of triclosan and formation of methyl-triclosan in activated sludge under aerobic conditions 总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Triclosan is an antimicrobial agent which is widely used in household and personal care products. Widespread use of this compound has led to the elevated concentrations of triclosan in wastewater, wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) and receiving waters. Removal of triclosan and formation of triclosan-methyl was investigated in activated sludge from a standard activated sludge WWTP equipped with enhanced biological phosphorus removal. The removal was found to occur mainly under aerobic conditions while under anoxic (nitrate reducing) and anaerobic conditions rather low removal rates were determined. In a laboratory-scale activated sludge reactor 75% of the triclosan was removed under aerobic conditions within 150 h, while no removal was observed under anaerobic or anoxic conditions. One percent of the triclosan was converted to triclosan-methyl under aerobic conditions, less under anoxic (nitrate reducing) and none under anaerobic conditions. 相似文献

Natural and synthetic estrogens present in municipal wastewater can be biodegraded during treatment, particularly in activated sludge. The objective was to assess the extent of transformation of 17-beta-estradiol (E2) and 17-alpha-ethinylestradiol (EE2) by nitrifying activated sludge and evaluate potential relationships between availability of oxygen, nitrification rate, and estrogen removal. For each batch experiment, two reactors were set up--aerobic and alternating anoxic/aerobic-which were then amended with E2 and EE2 from methanolic stock solutions. The EE2 was persistent under anoxic conditions; under aerobic conditions, the observed level of its removal was 22%. The E2 was readily converted to estrone (El)--faster under aerobic (nitrifying) than anoxic (denitrifying) conditions. During the initial anoxic conditions, a metabolite consistent with 17-alpha-estradiol transiently accumulated and was subsequently removed when the reactor was aerated. Higher removal rates of estrogens were associated with higher nitrification rates, which supports the contention that the nitrifying biomass was responsible for their removal. 相似文献

Anaerobic and aerobic (AnA) and completely aerobic (CA) sequencing-batch reactors (SBRs) were used to investigate the suitability of the AnA process for treating phosphorus (P)-deficient wastewaters with highly variable influent chemical oxygen demand (COD) loading. Both SBRs were subjected to influent COD loading patterns (LPs) that simulated (1) daily COD loading fluctuations, (2) weekend shutdowns, and (3) long weekend or holiday shutdowns. During LP 1, the AnA SBR produced lower average effluent soluble phosphorus concentrations than CA SBR (0.4 vs. 1.0 mgP/L). A similar result was observed during LP 2, but effluent acetate was detected after the first high COD loading cycle of the weekday loading period. During LP 3, the volatile suspended solids content of both reactors dropped sharply, and the effluent quality of both SBRs deteriorated. Model predictions suggest that the AnA process is stable when treating LP 1, but eventually fails when treating LP 2. 相似文献

实验采用活性污泥处理模拟印染废水,研究厌氧、好氧、厌氧/好氧交替3种条件对活性污泥性质的影响。3种实验条件下,污泥沉降比(SV%)均基本保持在18%~25%之间,污泥容积指数(SVI)保持在62~66 m L/g之间。活性污泥混合液中胞外聚合物(EPS)除EPSB-蛋白质浓度持续升高外,其余形式均呈现积累、达到最大值后下降的趋势,其中厌氧/好氧交替条件下EPS浓度最高而好氧条件下最小。在整个实验期间,活性污泥的脱氢酶活性基本呈上升状态,在厌氧/好氧间歇曝气条件下脱氢酶活性最高、好氧条件次之、厌氧条件最低,最终3种条件下的脱氢酶活性分别为31.27、26.63和24.37 mg/(g·h)。活性污泥中ATP浓度基本呈现先增加后减小、再趋于稳定的变化趋势。实验结果表明,活性污泥表观产率系数顺序是好氧厌氧厌氧/好氧交替运行,厌氧/好氧交替实现了系统内污泥减量,微生物的产率系数和能量状态密切相关。脱氢酶活性对污染物的降解影响明显,而实验条件下微生物能量状态和污泥减量并不对污染物降解产生影响。 相似文献

利用典型的活性污泥实验了辛基酚(octylphenol,OP)的生物降解性能。研究了水力停留时间、OP浓度和碳氮比对OP处理效率的影响,通过实时PCR和PCR-DGGE方法分别分析了微生物群落的总体密度和多样性变化。通过30d的启动,OP在序批式活性污泥典型好氧条件下出现有效生物降解。在OP浓度50~150μg/L整个实验过程中,OP去除率(84%~99%)基本保持稳定。在实验范围内,较长的水力停留时间(12 h)和碳氮比(2∶1)有利于OP生物降解。通过实时PCR方法测定得到系统微生物平均密度约为1.22 g/L,但富碳状态下生物密度增长上升。通过DGGE分离到17种优势基因型,包括了α-proteobacteria(6种)、β-proteobacteria(5种)、γ-proteobacteria(2种)、Actinobacteria(2种)和δ-proteobacteria(1种)群落。α-proteobacteria和δ-proteobacteria菌群密度呈现增长,β-proteobacteria和Actinobacteria菌群中的部分种类密度出现减少,OP在活性污泥中的好氧生物降解可能与α-proteobacteria中的特定类别相关。 相似文献

A case study was carried out to determine the bio-degradability of α-HCH in waste dumps polluted with HCH-isomers. Polluted soil was homogenized through a 2 mm sieve. The degradation of α-HCH (5300 mg kg?1) occurred under anaerobic as well as under aerobic conditions; the concentration decreased in 20 weeks with 35% and 55% respectively. Addition of glucose, glutamic acid and peptone to the polluted soil hardly affected the degradation rate of α-HCH. 相似文献

Methane is produced in anaerobic environments, such as reactors used to treat wastewaters, and can be consumed by methanotrophs. The composition and structure of a microbial community enriched from anaerobic sewage sludge under methane-oxidation condition coupled to denitrification were investigated. Denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) analysis retrieved sequences of Methylocaldum and Chloroflexi. Deep sequencing analysis revealed a complex community that changed over time and was affected by methane concentration. Methylocaldum (8.2%), Methylosinus (2.3%), Methylomonas (0.02%), Methylacidiphilales (0.45%), Nitrospirales (0.18%), and Methanosarcinales (0.3%) were detected. Despite denitrifying conditions provided, Nitrospirales and Methanosarcinales, known to perform anaerobic methane oxidation coupled to denitrification (DAMO) process, were in very low abundance. Results demonstrated that aerobic and anaerobic methanotrophs coexisted in the reactor together with heterotrophic microorganisms, suggesting that a diverse microbial community was important to sustain methanotrophic activity. The methanogenic sludge was a good inoculum to enrich methanotrophs, and cultivation conditions play a selective role in determining community composition. 相似文献

利用污水处理厂好氧池活性污泥和来自二沉池壁的藻类构成菌藻生物反应器用以处理实际生活废水,探讨了不同泥藻接种比对废水处理效果的影响,并分析了稳定运行后的微生物群落组成。结果表明:泥/藻质量比为1∶0.75的混合系统对污染物质(COD、TN和TP)的去除效率最高;当HRT为2 d时,按泥/藻质量比为1∶0.75接种的光生物反应器(初始TSS为1.12 g·L−1)在搅拌和太阳光照射的条件下,对${{\rm{NH}}_4^ + }$-N的去除率可达99.7%,对${{\rm{PO}}_4^{3 - }}$的去除率约为70%。利用高通量测序技术对运行42 d后反应器内(SRT为15 d)的细菌群落进行分析发现,优势细菌为厚壁菌门的微小杆菌属(Exiguobacterium),蓝菌门的光合产氧蓝细菌属(Cyanobium)和变形菌门α-变形菌纲的不产氧光合好氧异养固氮红杆菌属(Rhodobacter),其相对丰度分别为23.32%、15.23%和5.77%。同时,反应器内还存在氧化亚硝酸盐的硝化螺旋菌(Nitrospira),以及除磷的不动杆菌(Acinetobacter)和能进行好氧反硝化的副球菌(Paracoccus),其相对丰度分别为1.19%、0.58%和0.35%。 相似文献

为探究抗生素与微塑料复合污染对厌氧消化的作用影响,采用BMP实验考察了不同质量浓度氧氟沙星(OFL)、聚苯乙烯(PS)微塑料对剩余污泥厌氧消化产甲烷的影响行为,并通过分析溶解性有机物(DOM)、胞外聚合物(EPS)变化规律、厌氧发酵4阶段代谢以及微生物群落探讨其影响机理。结果表明,与对照组相比,单一OFL和单一PS微塑料污染使甲烷累积产量分别下降了15.95%~81.36%、4.25%~5.78%;而在复合条件下,两者表现出协同效应,故导致产甲烷速率的进一步下降和有效产气时间的缩短,其中OFL胁迫占主导。机理探究发现,不论单一OFL还是复合污染,DOM中腐殖质类物质均明显增加,EPS组分结构趋于复杂化,厌氧消化4阶段均受到明显抑制。单一PS微塑料污染在反应初期可提高产甲烷速率,且对厌氧消化4阶段的影响相对较小。微生物群落分析发现,复合组与单一OFL组群落分布更为相近,产酸细菌与嗜乙酸产甲烷菌的相对丰度均明显下降,这导致乙酸营养型产甲烷途径受到严重抑制。本研究结果可为复杂污染情况下剩余污泥资源化处理的工艺调控提供参考。 相似文献

工业溶剂三氯乙烯 (TCE)是地下水污染物中发现的最普遍的氯代化合物。本研究的目的是评价以葡萄糖为初始基质时好氧条件下TCE生物降解的可行性 ,以及以TCE为单一基质时的生物降解情况。微生物培养是在好氧条件下以驯化好的活性污泥作为接种体。实验结果表明 ,在 2 5℃时 ,葡萄糖可以在好氧条件下作为共代谢基质使TCE发生生物降解 ,其一级反应速率常数为 0 32 12d-1,半衰期为 2 16d ;TCE可以作为单一基质发生好氧生物转化 ,其一级反应速率常数为 0 2 6 2 4d-1,半衰期为 2 6 4d ;降解过程中无二氯乙烯 (DCE)和氯乙烯 (VC)等中间产物的形成 ;表明葡萄糖共代谢降解TCE的速率大于TCE作为单一基质的降解速率。 相似文献

对比研究了单独超声、单独碱解和两者联合预处理对污泥破解和厌氧消化性能的影响。以加碱量和输入能量为控制参数,研究了不同条件下的污泥破解和有机物溶解变化。结果表明:联合预处理技术对污泥破解和有机质溶解的效果比超声和碱解单独作用之和更好。污泥破解增加值ΔSCOD/TCOD和加碱量之间存在显著的线性关系(R2=0.936)。超声和碱解联合预处理对污泥厌氧消化产甲烷量较原泥增加了16.57%~31.13%。厌氧消化产甲烷结果表明,SCOD/TCOD的增加并不总是促进厌氧消化性能的改善,二者之间存在二次非线性关系(R2=0.85),且厌氧消化性能最高点出现在超声能量12 000 kJ·kg-1(TS)、加碱量0.08 g·g-1(TS)联合作用条件下。 相似文献

聚羟基脂肪酸酯(PHA)是一种生物可降解塑料,利用活性污泥合成PHA具有节约成本、操作方便的优点。研究选择污泥发酵液挥发性脂肪酸(VFAs)中比重相对较高的乙酸和丙酸作为碳源自配营养液,深入研究不同质量浓度比对PHA合成的影响。结果表明,乙酸为主要碳源时更有利于PHA的合成,最大合成量12.3%出现在乙酸作为唯一碳源的条件下。此外,PHA合成量随着底物中有机酸比重的增加而增加,充分展现了利用挥发性脂肪酸大量合成PHA的良好前景。 相似文献

Changes in bioavailability of pyrene in three uncontaminated soils were examined under aerobic and anaerobic conditions. Three soils were aerobically aged with pyrene and [(14)C]pyrene for 63 days, then incubated with water, nitrate, or sulfate under aerobic or anaerobic conditions for one year. Under aerobic conditions, microorganisms in two soils mineralized 58-82% of the added [(14)C]pyrene. The two soils amended with nitrate were seen to have enhanced aerobic mineralization rates. In one of these soils, non-extractable pyrene was seen to decrease over the course of the study due to desorption and mineralization, nitrate amendment enhanced this effect. Under anaerobic conditions, generated with a N(2):CO(2)(g) headspace, two soils with nitrate or sulfate amendment showed an increase in extractable [(14)C]pyrene at 365 days relative to inhibited controls, presumably due to microbially mediated oxidation-reduction potential and pH alteration of the soil environment. These observations in different soils incubated under aerobic and anaerobic conditions have important implications relative to the impact of microbial electron acceptors on bioavailability and transport of non-polar organic compounds in the environment suggesting that, given enough time, under the appropriate environmental conditions, non-extractable material becomes bioavailable. This information should be considered when assessing site specific exposure risks at PAH contaminated locations. 相似文献

试验装置采用半连续流污泥中温厌氧消化反应器,污泥培养接近成熟后开始每天按不同污泥投配率加泥和排泥.结果表明:污泥投配率在3%~10%时,有机物分解率先增大后减小,去除率均在30%以上;污泥投配率在15%和20%时,污泥的有机物去除率非常小;污泥投配率在5%时,有机物分解率最大为41.2%;单位VSS产气量随污泥投配率的增大而呈先急剧上升后逐渐下降的趋势,当污泥投配率为5%时,单位VSS产气量为0.60 L/g,符合美国污水处理厂设计手册标准,其他污泥投配率下该指标均小于0.4 L/g.因此,认为实验用污泥中温消化的最佳污泥投配率为5%,这时污泥的可消化性较好. 相似文献
