Ca(II)在活性污泥生物絮凝中的作用研究   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
采用4个平行的序批式反应器(SBR),研究了进水Ca2+浓度对活性污泥絮体表面特性和结构稳定性的影响,并由此来确定Ca2+在生物絮凝中的作用。结果表明:随着进水Ca2+浓度的增加,污泥中的Ca含量逐渐增大。进水中Ca2+的加入,增大了污泥絮体的粒径和密度,进而改善了污泥的沉降性能;Ca2+的加入,使可供结合的蛋白质数量最高增至近1倍,污泥表面疏水性也相应增强;污泥絮凝性能的改善,主要和可供Ca2+结合的蛋白质含量增加有关,而非多糖;EDTA通过络合污泥絮体中的Ca2+,破坏了由Ca2+架桥形成的污泥絮体结构,这说明Ca2+可通过和胞外聚合物(extracellular polymeric substances, EPS)中的负电官能团架桥来促进污泥絮体的形成并维持絮体结构的稳定性。  相似文献

在实验测试基础上,对燃煤烟气喷钙水浴复合脱硫工艺及设备进行了研究.实验表明,采用喷钙水浴复合脱硫工艺较单一喷钙或水浴具有更高的脱硫效果,且喷入的碳酸钙可得到充分利用.此外,还对钙硫比、喷钙方向及喷管插入水深等影响脱硫效率的因素进行了测试分析.  相似文献

对K-Ca-Mg-Cl-H2O体系中硫酸钙结晶介稳区进行了研究。以一定浓度氯化钙溶液与硫酸镁溶液反应结晶的方式,采用激光散射法测定了不同浓度复合盐溶液和温度下硫酸钙过饱和度与结晶之间的关系,并测定了与之平衡的溶解度,从而确定该体系中硫酸钙结晶介稳区宽度,探讨了影响结晶介稳区的因素,以及硫酸钙结晶和结晶相与复合盐溶液浓度、温度、结晶介稳区之间的关系。  相似文献

The bioavailability of calcium from two varieties of sweetpotatoes and supplementation of sweetpotatoes with soy flour was investigated in hamsters using plasma calcium concentration and femur calcium content as indicators. Five different diets were fed to five groups of animals for 28 days. There was no significant difference in plasma calcium concentrations of hamsters in all the diet groups. However, the femur calcium content of hamsters with transgenic sweetpotato flour (TSPF) and parent nontransgenic (from which transgenic was produced) sweetpotato flour (NTSPF) diets was significantly higher than that of the transgenic sweetotato flour supplemented with soy flour (TSPF + SF) and parent nontransgenic sweetpotato flour supplemented with soy flour (NTSPF + SF) diets. The relative bioavailability of calcium from the control (100%), TSPF+SF (30%), NTSPF+SF (23%), TSPF (57%) and NTSPF (46%) indicated that sweetpotatoes could be the better source of calcium, however, supplementation with soy flour might reduce the bioavailability of calcium.  相似文献

以处理生活污水的平板膜-生物反应器为依托,通过将进水调配成30、200和500 mg/L 3种不同的钙离子浓度,考察钙离子对短期膜污染的影响。结果表明,随着钙离子浓度的增加,TMP增长趋势变小,膜污染得到缓解;钙离子浓度为200 mg/L时,膜的渗透性最好,而过高的钙离子浓度并不利于降低膜污染。钙离子的投加强化了生物絮凝作用,可以降低SMP和LB-EPS的含量,主要通过降低外部阻力减缓膜污染;投加钙离子也可以增加絮体的大小,较大的絮体形成的泥饼有更好的过滤性,然而过高的钙离子浓度会使无机颗粒的量增加,造成平均粒径下降,将会加重内部污染,进而加剧膜污染。  相似文献

为了研究生石灰(氧化钙,CaO)处理活性污泥对污泥含水率和有机物含量的影响,通过向南京某城市污水处理厂出厂污泥投加过量CaO进行脱水实验,测定投加CaO后污泥的含水率;烘干后的脱水污泥进行热重实验,研究CaO投加量对污泥中有机组分含量的影响.脱水实验表明:随着CaO与污泥质量比的增大,污泥含水率迅速减小,当质量比达到1.5时,污泥达到完全脱水;投加过量CaO的脱水污泥呈干燥的粉末状,粒度均匀,可作为水泥生产的辅料。热重实验表明:投加CaO后单位干泥失重百分比随CaO与污泥质量比增大而逐渐减小,向污泥中投加CaO有利于污泥中有机组分的释放和去除,实现污泥的稳定化。  相似文献

This study has found an unexpected benefit for this practice: it reduces particulate emission. Nine types of the popular incense on the local market were chosen for this study. The calcium content in raw material incense was analyzed by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry, followed by X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy. The correlation between the calcium content and emission characteristics of incense was investigated. The calcium content varied from 1.8 to 60 mg/g (incense burned) among those nine different types of incense. Very little calcium (< 1%) was found in natural wood or plants, which is mainly the raw material of incense. Instead, most calcium was artificially added in the form of CaCO3 during manufacturing. The combustion characteristics, including burning rate, emission factors of particulate, ash, and solid-phase polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (S-PAHs), varied significantly among the nine types of incense. Incense containing 2% calcium would emit 30% less S-PAHs, compared with those with little (< 0.2%) calcium. More importantly, increasing the calcium content from 0.5 to 5% by adding CaCO3 reduced the particulate emission from incense by approximately 50%.  相似文献

Two varieties of tomatoes grown at 40 to 200 ppm calcium were continuously fumigated with HF throughout flowering and fruit development. Fruit size was directly related to the level of calcium nutrition, and within each calcium treatment the fruits on plants subjected to HF at about 6 μg F/m3 were smaller than those on unfumigated plants. The smaller fruit size was associated with partial or complete seedlessness, suggesting that calcium plays an essential role in fertilization with which fluoride may interfere. Fluoride injury to the tomato foliage was most severe at the lowest calcium level. Treatment with HF at about 8 μg F/m3 produced some injury to tomato foliage but had no apparent effect on fruiting. Evidently fluoride can affect plant fruiting, but considering the severity of the HF treatments required, effects on tomato fruiting probably are of little practical significance. The relationship between fluoride injury and calcium nutrition suggests interference with calcium metabolism as a mechanism of fluoride injury to plants.  相似文献

Membrane based treatment processes are very effective in removing salt from wastewater, but are hindered by calcium scale deposit formation. This study investigates the feasibility of removing calcium from treated sewage wastewater using accelerated seeded precipitation. The rate of calcium removal was measured during bench scale batch mode seeded precipitation experiments at pH 9.5 using various quantities of calcium carbonate as seed material. The results indicate that accelerated seeded precipitation may be a feasible option for the decrease of calcium in reverse osmosis concentrate streams during the desalination of treated sewage wastewater for irrigation purposes, promising decreased incidence of scaling and the option to control the sodium adsorption ratio and nutritional properties of the desalted water. It was found that accelerated seeded precipitation of calcium from treated sewage wastewater was largely ineffective if carried out without pre-treatment of the wastewater. Evidence was presented that suggests that phosphate may be a major interfering substance for the seeded precipitation of calcium from this type of wastewater. A pH adjustment to 9.5 followed by a 1-h equilibration period was found to be an effective pre-treatment for the removal of interferences. Calcium carbonate seed addition at 10 g l−1 to wastewater that had been pre-treated in this way was found to result in calcium precipitation from supersaturated level at 60 mg l−1 to saturated level at 5 mg l−1. Approximately 90% reduction of the calcium level occurred 5 min after seed addition. A further 10% reduction was achieved 30 min after seed addition.  相似文献

The availability of metal in contaminated soil can be reduced by the addition of soil amendments. The objectives of this study are to study the effects of applying different soil amendments on the concentration of Cd and Pb in soil solution, DTPA or EDTA extractable Cd and Pb, and the uptake of Cd and Pb by wheat (Triticum vulgare) when growing in long-term Cd and Pb-contaminated soils, more than 20 years. The soil amendments, including check, compost, zinc oxide, calcium carbonate, calcium carbonate mixed with zinc oxide, and calcium carbonate mixed with compost, were conducted in a four replicates pot cultural study. The amended soils were incubated for six months under 60% of water holding capacity. Following incubation, wheat was grown for four months in greenhouse. Analyses of Cd concentration demonstrated a significant decrease in soil solution concentration and DTPA or EDTA extractable in soils amended with calcium carbonate or calcium carbonate mixed with ZnO (or compost) (p<0.01). These amendments can significantly reduce the Cd concentration in the grain, leaf and stem, or reduce the total Cd uptake in all parts of wheat species grown in highly contaminated soil amended with calcium carbonate or calcium carbonate mixed with ZnO (or compost) (p<0.01). The concentration of Cd in soil solution and extracted with DTPA or EDTA can predict the Cd concentration in wheat, especially for soil solution.  相似文献

This study aimed at improving the photocatalytic (PC) oxidation of humic acids (HA) in TiO2 suspensions by adding cationic ion such as calcium or magnesium. A set of tests was first conducted in the dark to study the adsorption of HA onto TiO2 in suspensions at different pH and calcium concentrations. The experiment demonstrated that the adsorption of HA onto the TiO2 particles was either pH-dependent or calcium strength-dependent due to electrostatic interaction and calcium ion bridging. The photodegradation of HA in the presence of UV irradiation was investigated as a function of pH and the concentration of calcium and magnesium ions. The results showed that the adsorption behavior between HA and TiO2 played a very important role during the PC oxidation process. The PC oxidation could be enhanced at neutral pH by increasing the cation strength. The kinetics of HA PC degradation in TiO2 suspensions with different initial concentrations was also studied using the Langmuir-Hinshelwood model.  相似文献

利用直径280 mm、高320 mm的间歇式搅拌槽,在MnSO4加入浓度为0~0.05 mol/L的情况下,对亚硫酸钙悬浮液进行了催化氧化实验研究.实验结果表明,锰离子的加入会改变亚硫酸钙的氧化机理及氧化过程,表现为终点氧化率和氧化速率的变化.当Mn2 浓度为0.05 mol/L时,亚硫酸钙的终点氧化率比未加入Mn2 时高30%;此外,与非催化反应过程相比,Mn2 的加入能使亚硫酸钙在一个更宽的浓度范围内(0.02~0.073 mol/L)和一个更宽的时间范围内(20~100 min)均保持较高的氧化速率水平.  相似文献

This is a laboratory study on the reduction of combustion-generated hydrochloric acid (HCl) emissions by in-furnace dry-injection of calcium-based sorbents. HCl is a hazardous gaseous pollutant emitted in significant quantities by municipal and hazardous waste incinerators, coal-fired power plants, and other industrial furnaces. Experiments were conducted in a laboratory furnace at gas temperatures of 600-1000 degrees C. HCl gas diluted with N2, and sorbent powders fluidized in a stream of air were introduced into the furnace concurrently. Chlorination of the sorbents occurred in the hot zone of the furnace at gas residence times approximately 1 s. The sorbents chosen for these experiments were calcium formate (CF), calcium magnesium acetate (CMA), calcium propionate (CP), calcium oxide (CX), and calcium carbonate (CC). Upon release of organic volatiles, sorbents calcine to CaO at approximately 700 degrees C, and react with the HCl according to the reaction CaO + 2HCl <=> CaCl2 + H2O. At the lowest temperature case examined herein, 600 degrees C, direct reaction of HCl with CaCO3 may also be expected. The effectiveness of the sorbents to capture HCl was interpreted using the "pore tree" mathematical model for heterogeneous diffusion reactions. Results show that the thin-walled, highly porous cenospheres formed from the pyrolysis and calcination of CF, CMA, and CP exhibited high relative calcium utilization at the upper temperatures of this study. Relative utilizations under these conditions reached 80%. The less costly low-porosity sorbents, calcium carbonate and calcium oxide also performed well. Calcium carbonate reached a relative utilization of 54% in the mid-temperature range, while the calcium oxide reached an 80% relative utilization at the lowest temperature examined. The data matched theoretical predictions of sorbent utilization using the mathematical model, with activation energy and pre-exponential factors for the calcination reaction of 17,000 K and 300,000 (g gas/cm2/s/atm gas), respectively. Thus, the kinetics of the calcination reaction were found to be much faster (approximately 500 times) than those of the sulfation reaction examined previously in this laboratory.  相似文献

Cement paste, a cured mixture of cement and water, was reported to have considerable capacity for fluoride removal. In this study, heavily mixed fluoric acid wastewater from a semiconductor fabrication plant was applied to a column packed with cement paste granules to evaluate its capacity for the removal of fluoride and three other contaminants, phosphate, nitrate, and sulfate, as well as to investigate the interactions between these contaminants and cement components. The column reduced fluoride to remarkably low levels since fluorite was formed at highly elevated concentrations of calcium and the residual fluoride was further sorbed into the amorphous calcium phosphate that precipitated the entire amount of phosphate until breakthrough. The simultaneous removal of sulfate in the earlier stage was followed by significant removal of nitrate in exchange with the gradual release of sulfate. This behavior was explained by the co-precipitation of sulfate with calcium phosphate or calcium aluminate solids and the subsequent substitution of nitrate for the interlayer sulfate of monosulfate. However, the overall removal capacity of cement paste was reduced due to the high effluent loss of calcium and competition for calcium between fluoride and phosphate.  相似文献

Abstract

The batch reaction between fly ash and hydrated lime in water to produce high surface area calcium silicates for flue gas desulfurization has been examined extensively. This paper examines the reaction in a flow reactor using two low-calcium fly ashes and introducing gypsum, calcium sulf ite hemihydrate, and calcium chloride as additives to the reaction. The flow system is compared to the batch reaction at similar operating conditions and a segregated flow model is used to approximate flow reactor behavior.

Experiments with calcium chloride and gypsum additives were modeled fairly well by the segregated flow approximation at residence times less than 12 hours. The flow reactor produced low surface area material at longer residence times when gypsum was present. Because the changing solution chemistry affected the batch reaction rate the fly ash and hydrated lime system without gypsum or calcium chloride could not be approximated using batch reaction data. In this case, the flow reactor produced higher surface area product than the batch reactor for a given residence time due to the increased calcium hydroxide availability.  相似文献
