The suitability of the primmorphs system as a good model for biotechnological applications led researchers on primmorphs to look for a medium to stimulate cell proliferation and therefore growth of aggregates. Recent efforts have focused on the use of Fe+3 and Si that, supplemented to cell culture medium, were found to be promising for growth and morphogenesis of the sponge Suberites domuncula. In this work, we analysed the effect of iron and dissolved silica on primmorphs of Petrosia ficiformis, by testing them at different concentrations in successive experiments. The purpose of these experiments was to test their effect on primmorphs and individuate their optimal concentration for this species. Our results suggest a negative effect of iron on primmorphs of P. ficiformis and a positive effect of silica on primmorphs size and spiculogenesis at a concentration of 120 μM.  相似文献

Allograft reactions of the sponge Hymeniacidon heliophila Parker, 1910 have been studied and quantified at the cellular level in vitro. Cell-layer assays were used to record the timing of rejection between allogeneic individuals and to investigate changes in the cellular subpopulations of primmorphs belonging to different individuals and placed in direct contact. The initial contact on both cell layers and primmorphs was followed by partial fusion and ended by their isolation with formation of a defined barrier but without marked collagen deposition. Using cytospins, cellular subpopulations from primmorphs were morphologically distinguished based on overall shape and on nuclear and cytoplasmic characteristics. In the beginning of the cultures up to 17 cell types could be recognized. Within 5 days, following reaggregation and primmorph formation, populations of eight of these types suffered marked reduction, whereas nine other cell types were either maintained or reduced at a slower pace. When submitted to allogeneic contact, the cellular dynamics of the four remaining types were altered. Surprisingly, the percentage of archeocytes is reduced, probably depleted by differentiation into other, differentiated cell populations. Cellular responses to allogeneic contact were characterized mainly by a transient increase in globoferous cells, a larger participation of presumed collagen-secreting cells, and by a remarkable expansion of the collencyte population. The collencyte population remained altered after the isolation of the individuals by a collagen barrier, and this can represent a mechanism of short-term immune memory.Communicated by O. Cladophora rupestris plants growing near an iron ore unloading terminal bore red-brown cell wall incrustations. These were shown to be of ferric oxide by histochemical tests. Iron-free Cladophora plants transplanted to this same location developed Fe2O3 incrustations after 3-4 weeks. Similar crustose deposits of smaller sizes were observed on Cladophora plants growing near rusty chains in a harbour at some distance from the ore terminal. Cladophora would seem to be a useful factor monitoring organism for iron ore dust spillage in the sea.  相似文献

We performed a screening on 21 Mediterranean sponge species in order to know from which ones primmorphs can be obtained, with a comparison of their formation among the outputs. Thirteen species produced primmorphs, evidencing a high variability among species concerning the number and size of primmorphs, without evidencing any taxonomical specificity. Additionally, the formation process and trend of growth during 1 month of monitoring were studied from a quantitative point of view. The dynamics of primmorphs formation follow different patterns: slow and quick formation, short and long-time survival and in the case of long-time survival, the fission and fusion models are proposed. Besides these patterns, each analysed species showed characteristic trends in the time required for the aggregation of cells, the time required for the production of small primmorphs, growth fluctuation and the acquirement of a final stable size.  相似文献

Cell growth and iron uptake of the coastal marine diatoms Chaetoceros sociale and Thalassiosira weissflogii were studied in the presence of short-aged amorphous ferric hydroxide (am-Fe(III)) media. These were prepared by aging for 1 day, 3 days, and 3 weeks after adding a small amount of ferric iron acidic stock solution to autoclaved filtered seawater and were experimentally measured in culture experiments at 10°C for C. sociale and 20°C for T. weissflogii. The order of cell yields for both species was: 1-day aged am-Fe(III) >3-day aged am-Fe(III) >> 3-week aged am-Fe(III) media. The iron uptake rates by C. sociale during 0–1 day in 1 day and 3-day aged am-Fe(III) media were about two-thirds and one-fourths, respectively, lower than that in the direct Fe(III) input medium containing C. sociale into which an acidic Fe(III) stock solution was added directly. The longer aging time of am-Fe(III) in media results in reducing the supply of bioavailable iron in the media by the slower dissolution rate of am-Fe(III) with the longer aging time. These results suggest that the chemical and structural changes of freshly precipitated amorphous ferric hydroxide with short aging time affect their ability, such as iron solubility and dissolution rate to supply bioavailable iron for the phytoplankton growth. The chemical and structural conversion of solid iron phases with time is one of the most important processes in changing the supply of available iron to marine phytoplankton in estuarine and coastal waters and in iron fertilization experiments.  相似文献

根表铁锰膜对不同生育期水稻吸收和转运As的影响   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
采用土壤盆栽试验法,研究不同生育期水稻根表铁锰膜形成及其对As吸收和转运的影响。结果表明,两个水稻品种YD6和NK57均在分蘖期形成的铁锰膜量最多,成熟期形成的铁锰膜量最少。水稻根系和茎叶吸收积累As随着水稻不同品种和不同生育期变化较大,As的吸收和积累与铁锰膜形成存在相关性。与分蘖期相比,YD6和NK57成熟期根系As含量分别减少81.6%和62.1%。孕穗期YD6和NK57茎叶As含量分别比分蘖期减少86.4%和65.5%,比成熟期减少87.8%和67.1%。分蘖期水稻根系和茎叶As含量与DCB-Fe或DCB-Mn浓度均呈显著的负相关关系,而孕穗期水稻根系和茎叶As含量与DCB-Fe浓度呈显著的正相关关系,说明不同生育期铁锰膜对水稻植株吸收和转运As的影响不同。两个水稻品种不同生育期,As均主要富集和分配在根表铁锰膜中,铁锰膜中As的分配比率达62.9%~84.9%。NK57从根表铁锰膜、根系和茎叶向籽粒转运As的能力比YD6强,籽粒中As含量是YD6的2.1倍。结果表明可以通过选育As低积累和低转运的水稻品种,来降低污染地区As对人体健康的威胁。  相似文献

The ascosporogenous marine yeast Pichia spartinae is a dominant endosymbiont of the marsh grass Spartina alterniflora. Results of previous studies suggested that P. spartinae is involved in iron transport processes in the grass. of particular interest has been the mechanisms of metal uptake and metabolism by the yeast, and the ecological and plant biochemical significance of these processes. This investigation examined the uptake of iron and other metals (Zn, Cu, Cd, Ni, Pb, Cr) by P. spartinae, and provides data on possible mechanisms of this activity. the results suggest a) the yeast can assimilate divalent and trivalent forms of inorganic iron, as well as large organic-Fe(III) complexes, b) the uptake of inorganic trivalent iron under soluble iron-deficient conditions proceeded by a different mechanism than that of soluble Fe(II), with intracellular loadings of iron much increased under the former conditions; c) trivalent iron uptake is not mediated by hydroxamate siderophores at levels detectable by sensitive screening assays; d) the assimilation of some trace metals (Cu, Zn, Cd, Ni) is likely to be mediated by low molecular weight cysteine rich proteins, possibly metallothionein, and; e) siderophores from other fungi can provide iron for P. spartinae. the iron assimilation data suggested that multiple mechanisms are involved, and are influenced by the concentration and speciation of iron in the system. in general, iron assimilation mechanisms are comparable to those described for closely related yeasts, such as Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Among other things, these results indicated that future studies of trace metal mobilization and plant assimilation in salt marsh ecosystems must account for the activities of microbial symbionts associated with the plants.  相似文献

Toxicity of cassava effluent in water on aquatic lives was examined via acute and chronic bioassay experiments on Clarias gariepinus (I) and Oreochromis niloticus (II) under laboratory conditions, using standard procedures. The effluent cyanide concentration exceeded the WHO limit for wastewater. Fish body weights and haematological parameters (HMP) significantly decreased with increasing effluent concentration at p≤0.05. Toxicity on HMP for the respective (I) and (II) varied from 5.4 to 52.8; 4.8 to 51.9% for packed cell volume, 4.1 to 43.9; 5.3 to 64.0% for red blood count, 0.0 to 15.7; 0.0 to 61.4% for white blood count, 3.6 to 45.9; 5.2 to 49.5% for haemoglobin, 11.6 to 71.9; 28.4 to 63.8% for total protein, 11.5 to 75.5; 15.0 to 58.2% for albumin and 11.8 to 75.0; 46 to 83.9% for globulin. Acute exposure yielded 96-h LC50 values of 0.45% for (I) and 0.25% for (II) and chronic exposure caused reduced growth and poor blood quality.  相似文献

Availability of colloidal ferric oxides to coastal marine phytoplankton   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5  
Cell growth of a coastal marine diatom, Phaeodactylum tricornutum (stock cultures), and two red tide marine flagellates, Heterosigma akashiwo and Gymnodinium mikimotoi (stock cultures), in the presence of soluble chelated Fe(III)-EDTA (1:2) and of four different phases of ferric oxide colloids were experimentally measured in culture experiments at 20°C under 3000 lux fluorescent light. Soluble Fe(III)-EDTA induced the maximal growth rates and cell yields. The short-term uptake rate of iron by H. akashiwo in Fe(III)-EDTA medium was about eight times faster than that in solid amorphous hydrous ferric oxide (Fe2O3·xH2O) medium. In culture experiments supplied with four different ferric oxide forms, the orders of cell yields are amorphous hydrous ferric oxide>-FeOOH (lepidocrocite)>Fe5O7(OH)·4H2O (hydrated ferric oxyhydroxide polymer >-FeOOH (goethite). The specific growth rates () at logarithmic growth phase in Fe(III)-EDTA, amorphous hydrous ferric oxide and -FeOOH media were significantly greater than those in Fe5O7 (OH)·4H2O and -FeOOH media. The thermodynamically stable forms such as Fe5O7(OH)·4H2O and -FeOOH supported a little or no phytoplankton growth. The iron solublities and/or proton-promoted iron dissolution rates of these colloidal ferric oxides in seawater at 20°C were determined by simple filtration techniques involving -activity measurements of 59Fe. The orders of solubilities and estimated dissolution rate constants of these ferric oxides in seawater were consistent with that of cell yields in the culture experiments. These results suggest that the availability of colloidal iron to provide a source of iron for phytoplankton is related to the thermodynamic stability and kinetic lability of the colloidal ferric oxide phases, which probably control the uptake rate of iron by phytoplankton.  相似文献

通过温室土壤盆栽试验研究不同生育期水稻根表铁膜形成对水稻吸收和转运Pb的影响。结果表明,两种水稻根表铁膜形成量(以DCB-Fe含量计)及铁膜中吸附的Pb量均随着生育期的延长而减少。水稻根表铁膜Fe含量与铁膜吸附的Pb量呈显著的正相关关系(r=0.798,p0.01)。水稻根系和茎叶吸收积累Pb随着不同品种和不同生育期而变化。品种NK57籽粒Pb含量显著高于品种YD6,前者为后者的1.9倍。从富集系数和分配比率来看,Pb主要富集在水稻的铁膜和根系中,而积累在茎叶和籽粒中的比率较少。Pb从水稻根表铁膜、根系和茎叶向籽粒中的转运系数在两个水稻品种间差异均不显著。水稻分蘖期和孕穗期根表铁膜量与根系Pb含量均呈显著的正相关关系(p0.05),但是成熟期水稻根表铁膜量与根系、茎叶和籽粒中Pb含量相关性均不显著,说明根表铁膜形成对水稻分蘖期和孕穗期吸收积累Pb有一定影响,但对水稻成熟期根系、茎叶和籽粒吸收积累Pb影响不大。  相似文献

Rhodanobacter spp. are dominant in acidic, high nitrate and metal contaminated sites. • Dominance of Rhodanobacter is likely due to tolerance to low pH and heavy metals. • High organic content increases stress tolerance capacity. • Longer incubation time is critical for accurate assessment of MIC (various stresses). This work examines the physiologic basis of stress tolerance in bacterial strains of the genus Rhodanobacter that dominate in the acidic and highly metal contaminated near-source subsurface zone of the Oak Ridge Integrated Field Research Challenge (ORIFRC) site. Tolerance of R. denitrificans to levels of different stresses were studied in synthetic groundwater medium and R2A broth. Two strains of R. denitrificans, strains 2APBS1T and 116-2, tolerate low to circumneutral pH (4–8), high Uranium (1 mmol/L), elevated levels of nitrate (400 mmol/L) and high NaCl (2.5%). A combination of physiologic traits, such as growth at low pH, increased growth in the presence of high organics concentration, and tolerance of high concentrations of nitrate, NaCl and heavy metals is likely responsible for dominance of Rhodanobacter at the ORIFRC site. Furthermore, extended incubation times and use of low carbon media, better approximating site groundwater conditions, are critical for accurate determination of stress responses. This study expands knowledge of the ecophysiology of bacteria from the genus Rhodanobacter and identifies methodological approaches necessary for acquiring accurate tolerance data.  相似文献

• Polystyrene microplastic caused hormesis-like effects in Phaeodactylum tricornutum. • Low concentration of microplastic promoted growth, otherwise the opposite was true. • The change trends of pigment contents were opposite at two initial algae densities. • The chlorophyll fluorescence parameters were more sensitive at low algae density. The effects of pristine polystyrene microplastics (pMPs) without any pretreatment at different concentrations (0, 10, 20, 50, and 100 mg/L) on Phaeodactylum tricornutum Bohlin at two initial algae densities (105 and 106 cells/mL) were assessed in this study. Hormesis-like effects were found when microalgae grew with pMPs. The results showed that pMPs inhibited microalgae growth under a high concentration of microplastics tolerated by individual algal cell (low initial algae density) (up to −80.18±9.71%) but promoted growth when the situation was opposite (up to 15.27±3.66%). The contents of photosynthetic pigments including chlorophyll a, chlorophyll c and carotenoids showed resistance to pMPs stress under a low initial algae density and increased with time, but the opposite was true under a high initial algae density. Compared with the low initial algae density group, Qp received less inhibition, and NPQ (heat dissipation) also decreased under the high initial algae density. Under the low initial algae density, OJIP parameters such as Sm, N, Area, Pi Abs, ѱo, φEo, TRo/RC and ETo/RC were more perturbed initially and returned to the levels of the control group (without pMPs) over time, but they remained stable throughout the experiment at high initial algae density. These results show that microplastics in the marine environment may have different toxic effects on P. tricornutum at different growth stages, which is of great significance for understanding the impact of microplastics on marine microalgae and aquatic ecosystems.  相似文献

This study compared the growth and lipid accumulation properties of two oleaginous microalgae, namely, Scenedesmus sp. LX1 and Chlorella sp. HQ, under different nutrient conditions. Both algal species obtained the highest biomass, lipid content and lipid yield under low-nutrient conditions (mBGll medium). The biomass, lipid content and lipid yield of Scenedesmus sp. LX1 were 0.42g·L^-1, 22.5% and 93.8mg·L^-1, respectively. These values were relatively higher than those of Chlorella sp. HQ (0.30g·L^-1, 17.1% and 51.3mg·L^-1, respectively). These algae were then cultivated in an SE medium that contained more nutrients; as a result, the biomass and lipid yield of Scenedesmus sp. LX1 reduced more significantly than those of Chlorella sp. HQ. Opposite results were observed in lipid and triacylglycerols (TAGs) contents. The cell sizes of both algal species under low-nutrient conditions were larger than those under high-nutrient conditions. Chlorella sp. HQ cells did not aggregate, but Scenedesmus sp. LX1 cells flocculated easily, particularly under low-nutrient conditions. In summary, low-nutrient conditions favour the growth and lipid production of both algae, but Scenedesmus sp. LX1 outperforms Chlorella sp. HQ.  相似文献

改变培养基的氮源形态和碳源浓度,研究铜绿微囊藻、小环藻和四尾栅藻的单藻增长行为,筛选适宜的培养基作为混藻竞争实验的共培养基。研究表明,铜绿微囊藻和四尾栅藻在氨氮培养基中的最大生物量K和最大比增长速率r均不及以硝态氮为氮源的培养基;添加高浓度HCO3-(NaHCO3 1.410 mmol/L)能够提高铜绿微囊藻和四尾栅藻藻细胞对氨氮的吸收能力;较低碳源浓度(NaCO3 0.0943 mmol/L)的培养基中,四尾栅藻的初始比增长速率及生物量远高于铜绿微囊藻,但其最大比增长速率r低于铜绿微囊藻,在实验的第10天左右铜绿微囊藻的生物量超过四尾栅藻;小环藻不能在较高浓度碳源(NaHCO3 1.504 mmol/L)下存活;铜绿微囊藻、四尾栅藻与小环藻均可在以氨氮(HA)或硝态氮(HN)为氮源的培养基中单独培养并达到实验所需生物量,因此,HN和HA可以作为实验室内这三种藻共培养适宜的培养基,为今后研究藻类种间资源竞争机制提供实验依据。  相似文献

The small marine plankton diatom Thalassiosira pseudonana Hasle and Heimdal (Guillard's clone 3H) was grown in chemostats with silicate as the limiting nutrient. The calculated maximum growth rates were comparable to those previously reported for this species. The silica content of the diatom shells varied with the growth rate. As the growth rate approached zero, there were still measurable quantities of residual reactive silicate in the medium. In one of the two chemostats used, silicate assimilation by the cells was inefficient due to some unknown internal or external factor. In the other chemostat, statistically calculated half-saturation constants of growth were in the range of 0.5 to 0.8 g—at Si/l, depending on which kind of correction was made for residual silicate. Half-saturation constants of steady-state mean silicate uptake per cell and hour, calculated in a similar fashion, were in the range of 1.4 to 2.6 g—at Si/l. These results indicate that the silicate concentrations causing a reduced silicate uptake by this species in nature do not necessarily result in a correspondingly reduced growth rate. Growth in coastal waters is likely to become seriously limited by a shortage of silicate only when most of the silicate originally present has been removed in the course of a diatom bloom.  相似文献

The effects of varying the concentration of phosphorus and potassium independently in the growing medium of pot-grown tomato plants on their subsequent susceptibility in normal medium to vascular wilt caused by Verticillium dahliae Kleb. were studied. The degree of host invasion was measured by estimating the chitin component of diseased tissue. Different levels of potassium had little effect on the degree of invasion of inoculated stems, but this was considerably enhanced in plants raised in the absence of phosphorus. Root inoculated plants were particularly resistant when raised in nutrients totally lacking in potassium, and very susceptible when raised in the absence of phosphorus.  相似文献

采用试验生态学方法,以海洋硅藻三角褐指藻(Phaeodactylum tricornutum)为研究材料,设置一系列铁浓度处理(3.15mg·L-1、6.30 mg·L-1、9.45 mg·L-1、18.90 mg·L-1和34.65 mg·L-1),着重测定藻液光密度(OD450)、比生长率、藻细胞密度、藻生物量、叶绿素含量和蛋白质含量等生理生化指标,探讨铁浓度对海洋微藻生长特性和生化组分的影响.结果表明,铁浓度对三角褐指藻的生长状况产生了显著的影响.三角褐指藻经培养48 h后,不同铁浓度下的藻液光密度(OD450)存在显著的差异,6.30 mg·L-1铁浓度下的藻液光密度值(OD450)最高,而随着铁浓度的进一步升高,藻液光密度值(OD450)却明显降低;比生长率和藻细胞密度在3.15 mg·L-1到9.45 mg·L-1铁浓度范围内随着铁浓度升高而增大(最大值分别约为0.609 d-1和1200×104 cell·mL-1),但高于9.45 mg·L-1的铁浓度显著降低了比生长率和藻细胞密度;在试验所设置的铁浓度范围内,藻生物最表现出随铁浓度的升高而增大的趋势,34.65 mg·L-1铁浓度下的藻生物量高达0.460 mg·ML-1.同样地,微藻叶绿素a含量和蛋白质含量也明显地受到铁浓度的影响.在3.15 mg·L-1到18.90 mg·L-1铁浓度范围内,叶绿素a含量逐渐增高(最大值为2.41 mg·L-1);同样地,蛋白质含量在9.45 mg·L-1.铁浓度下达到最大值(0.153 mg·mL-1),而随着铁浓度的逐渐升高,叶绿素和蛋白质含量却明显降低.研究结果表明.铁浓度诱导海洋微藻的生长及代谢发生变化.一定较高浓度的铁显著地促进了藻细胞的生长繁殖和藻细胞化学组分的转化和积累.这些发现将有利于加深认识铁浓度在海洋生态系统中扮演的角色,进一步明确赤潮爆发的生理生态机制,从而有助于人们采取有效的预测、预防和管理措施以降低赤潮的危害.  相似文献

为探索缓解水稻砷毒害的农艺措施,以耐低磷水稻99011和低磷敏感水稻99012为材料,通过土培试验,研究水分、磷用量及其交互作用对不同砷浓度酸性土壤中水稻根表铁膜以及植物体内砷分配的影响。结果表明,节水灌溉(干湿交替)明显减少水稻根表铁膜量,降低铁膜、根系、秸秆、颖壳和精米中的砷含量。与30mg·kg-1P2O5相比,180mg·kg-1P2O5能明显减少两个品种水稻的根表铁膜量以及根系和秸秆中的砷含量;对耐低磷品种铁膜砷含量影响不大,但显著降低磷敏感品种铁膜砷含量;在50mg·kg-1砷处理中增加磷用量对水稻颖壳砷含量影响不大,在100mg·kg-1砷处理时能显著降低颖壳砷含量;增加磷用量可明显增加耐低磷品种的精米砷含量,降低磷敏感品种的精米砷含量。水、磷交互效应主要受水分效应的影响。加砷处理后,相同处理下耐低磷品种的根表铁膜量和铁膜中的砷含量显著高于磷敏感品种,而根系、秸秆、颖壳和精米中的砷含量则相反。研究表明,可以通过节水灌溉,并根据砷污染程度和植物磷营养特性确定适当的磷肥用量,从而减少砷在水稻体内的累积,提高食品安全。  相似文献

Sponges are sessile filter feeders that are exposed to toxic compounds/xenobiotics and a huge number of diverse pro- and eukaryotic organisms occurring in the aqueous milieu. To cope with these threats, sponges have developed a variety of chemical and immunological defense systems. Among them are potent secondary metabolites or toxins. The demosponge Suberites domuncula contains the bioactive compound okadaic acid; concentrations of ᅢ ng/g (ᅬ nM) of wet tissue have been quantified by LC/MS. In the present study, we sought to determine whether okadaic acid is beneficial for this sponge. Antibodies were raised against okadaic acid and used to localize this compound in situ. It could be demonstrated that the polyclonal antibodies/antiserum stained the sponge cells (endopinacocytes) which form the epithelium of the lacunae and the water channels. They also reacted with bacteria present in sponge tissue. Okadaic acid was found to augment the immune response of S. domuncula against the bacterial endotoxin lipopolysaccharide (LPS). If primmorphs, a special form of 3-D aggregates, are incubated with LPS at a concentration of 3 µg/ml, a reduction in the incorporation rate of [3H] phenylalanine is measured. In the presence of okadaic acid, this effect is measured already at a concentration of 1 µg/ml, suggesting that okadaic acid sensitizes this (immune) response. Okadaic acid is a known inhibitor of protein phosphatases which, as shown here, cause an increased phosphorylation of p38, a central kinase of the MAP kinase pathway; this may explain the sensitive response of the sponge cells to LPS. At higher concentrations, okadaic acid induces apoptosis, as was demonstrated here by a differential expression of the Bcl-2 homolog and the caspase gene. It is concluded that okadaic acid has two functions in the sponge; first, at low concentrations (<100 nM) a stimulation of the defense system against bacteria, and second, at concentrations above 500 nM, a differential effect on the pro-/anti-apoptotic genes.  相似文献

• ORP value from −278.71 to −379.80 mV showed indiscernible effects on methane yield. • Fe(II) and Fe(III) promoted more degradation of proteins and amino acids than Fe0. • The highest enrichment of Geobacter was noted in samples added with Fe0. • Cysteine was accumulated during iron enhanced anaerobic sludge digestion. • Both iron content and valence were important for methane production. This study compared effects of three different valent iron (Fe0, Fe(II) and Fe(III)) on enhanced anaerobic sludge digestion, focusing on the changes of oxidation reduction potential (ORP), dissolved organic nitrogen (DON), and microbial community. Under the same iron dose in range of 0−160 mg/L after an incubation period of 30 days (d), the maximum methane production rate of sludge samples dosed with respective Fe0, Fe(II) and Fe(III) at the same concentration showed indiscernible differences at each iron dose, regardless of the different iron valence. Moreover, their behavior in changes of ORP, DON and microbial community was different: (1) the addition of Fe0 made the ORP of sludge more negative, and the addition of Fe(II) and Fe(III) made the ORP of sludge less negative. However, whether being more or less negative, the changes of ORP may show unobservable effects on methane yield when it ranged from −278.71 to −379.80 mV; (2) the degradation of dissolved organic nitrogen, particularly proteins, was less efficient in sludge samples dosed with Fe0 compared with those dosed with Fe(II) and Fe(III) after an incubation period of 30 d. At the same dose of 160 mg/L iron, more cysteine was noted in sludge samples dosed with Fe(II) (30.74 mg/L) and Fe(III) (27.92 mg/L) compared with that dosed with Fe0 (21.75 mg/L); (3) Fe0 particularly promoted the enrichment of Geobacter, and it was 6 times higher than those in sludge samples dosed with Fe(II) and Fe(III) at the same dose of 160 mg/L iron.  相似文献
