负载TiO_2浮石对污水处理厂二沉池出水的矿化与灭菌研究   总被引:2,自引:1,他引:1  
城市污水处理厂第二沉淀池出水的污染物浓度较低,经过矿化及灭菌等深度处理后可以同用,从而减轻对淡水资源的需求.本实验采用溶胶-凝胶法制备了负载TiO2的浮石光催化剂,对城市污水处理厂第二沉淀池出水进行了矿化及灭菌处理研究.采用低压汞灯对处理水样照射2 h,有机物降解率可以达到50%,灭菌效率达到100%.处理后的水可以作为农作物灌溉、城市绿化和娱乐用水.负载在浮石表面的TiO2薄膜经过10次的光催化循环实验后,没有明显破损,可以再次循环使用.TiO2浮石具有质轻、机械性能好和价格低等优点,该方法处理废水的适用浓度低,可以广泛应用于微污染水和城市污水处理厂出水的深度处理.  相似文献

通过TiO2/活性炭光催化剂的光催化氧化作用,对印染废水的生化处理出水进行深度处理。实验考察了pH值、催化剂负载次数、光照时间、催化剂投加量等因素对处理效果的影响。实验结果表明:催化剂负载次数为4次,光照时间30min,催化剂投加量为3g时,处理效果最佳。此时出水COD达到50mg/L,色度为2,达到印染行业回用水的标准。  相似文献

分别采用7-乙氧基异酚恶唑酮.脱乙基酶(EROD)活性测定法,重组人激素受体基因的酵母测试和Q67发光菌试验方法,对北京市某生活污水处理厂的进水、二沉出水以及经过石灰法深度处理后的出水中的类二恶英物质、类雌激素物质和急性毒性物质进行了分析。进水中的三类生物毒性效应物质中的急性毒性物质,可通过活性污泥法基本去除,而对类雌激素物质和类二恶英物质的去除率分别为76%和52%。经过石灰沉淀法的深度处理后,可使上述两类物质的总去除率达到95%和68%。出水中的雌激素当量水平与欧洲国家污水处理厂出水水平相当,而类二恶英物质的总浓度低于美国EPA饮用水中二恶英的最大允许浓度。展示了生物毒性测试方法在排水生态风险和工艺评价方面的应用潜力。  相似文献

由于城市污水处理厂出水中含有的低浓度污染物的性能稳定而不易被去除,为探索一种快速、直接的低浓度污染物的深度处理方法,通过采用富二价阳离子斜发沸石作载体的生物沸石曝气滤池对某城市污水厂二级处理出水中的低浓度污染物的去除进行了实验研究,研究结果表明,当污水厂二级处理出水水质年平均指标NH3-N、COD、BOD5、TP及浊度分别为27.4 mg/L、57.2 mg/L、20.4 mg/L、1.7 mg/L和16 NTU时,采用两级生物沸石曝气滤池串联工艺,在第一级生物沸石曝气滤池装填3 m生物沸石,水力停留时间1 h,气水比为2∶1;第二级生物沸石曝气滤池装填2 m生物沸石,水力停留时间为0.5 h,气水比为1∶1,最终出水年平均指标NH3-N 0.13 mg/L、COD 7.55 mg/L(CODMn)、BOD50.78 mg/L、TP0.6 mg/L、浊度为0.13 NTU,出水水质可满足热力发电厂循环冷却补充水的水质要求.此种方法为污水处理厂的出水提供了经济有效的回用途径。  相似文献

滤布滤池工艺是一种将过滤截留和沉淀集中在同一滤池内同步完成的高效水处理工艺。将该工艺应用于城市污水的深度处理中,通过絮凝剂的加入,具有同步去除TP和浊度的功能。研究了该工艺对城市污水处理厂二级处理出水中的TP、浊度、TN和COD的去除效果及其运行规律。研究表明:采用氯化铁作为絮凝剂,在合适的药剂投加量下,对污水处理厂二级出水的TP的去除率超过53%,浊度去除率超过32%。与传统的砂滤工艺相比,该工艺具有操作简单、结构紧凑、占地面积小和高程损失小等优点,是一种更为经济和简单的处理单元,适用于现有城市污水处理厂进一步提高出水水质的深度处理。  相似文献

为了提高给水处理中常规沉淀池的沉淀效率,采用多个沉淀池代替常规的单一沉淀池进行沉降实验,多池依次进水、依次静止沉淀,然后出水,周期循环,并在实验的基础上提出了“周期循环静止沉淀”这种给水处理新工艺。实验结果和实践表明,周期循环静止沉淀工艺与常规连续进、出水的单一沉淀池工艺相比,其沉淀效率明显提高,其出水水质显著改善。  相似文献

利用ClO2 氧化/TiO2 复合吸附剂协同体系对处理实际印染废水进行了实验研究.结果表明,对于COD为750 mg/L、色度为250倍、SS为100 mg/L的1 000 mL印染废水,当溶液pH为4.0、ClO2 用量20 mg/L、TiO2 复合吸附剂用量2.5 g、反应时间和吸附时间分别为2、8 min时,处理后的废水COD<100 mg/L、色度<40倍、SS<70 mg/L,达到了《纺织染整工业水污染物排放标准》(GB 4287-92)排放要求.并对两者的协同机理进行了理论上的探讨.  相似文献

Occurrence and behavior of fluoroquinolone antibacterial agents (FQs) were investigated in hospital wastewaters in Hanoi, Vietnam. Hospital wastewater in Hanoi is usually not treated and this untreated wastewater is directly discharged into one of the wastewater channels of the city and eventually reaches the ambient aquatic environment. The concentrations of the FQs, ciprofloxacin (CIP) and norfloxacin (NOR) in six hospital wastewaters ranged from 1.1 to 44 and from 0.9 to 17 micrgl(-1), respectively. Total FQ loads to the city sewage system varied from 0.3 to 14 g d(-1). Additionally, the mass flows of CIP and NOR were investigated in the aqueous compartment in a small wastewater treatment facility of one hospital. The results showed that the FQ removal from the wastewater stream was between 80 and 85%, probably due to sorption on sewage sludge. Simultaneously, the numbers of Escherichia coli (E. coli) were measured and their resistance against CIP and NOR was evaluated by determining the minimum inhibitory concentration. Biological treatment lead to a 100-fold reduction in the number of E. coli but still more than a thousand E. coli colonies per 100ml of wastewater effluent reached the receiving water. The highest resistance was found in E. coli strains of raw wastewater and the lowest in isolates of treated wastewater effluent. Thus, wastewater treatment is an efficient barrier to decrease the residual FQ levels and the number of resistant bacteria entering ambient waters. Due to the lack of municipal wastewater treatment plants, the onsite treatment of hospital wastewater before discharging into municipal sewers should be considered as a viable option and consequently implemented.  相似文献

Membrane based treatment processes are very effective in removing salt from wastewater, but are hindered by calcium scale deposit formation. This study investigates the feasibility of removing calcium from treated sewage wastewater using accelerated seeded precipitation. The rate of calcium removal was measured during bench scale batch mode seeded precipitation experiments at pH 9.5 using various quantities of calcium carbonate as seed material. The results indicate that accelerated seeded precipitation may be a feasible option for the decrease of calcium in reverse osmosis concentrate streams during the desalination of treated sewage wastewater for irrigation purposes, promising decreased incidence of scaling and the option to control the sodium adsorption ratio and nutritional properties of the desalted water. It was found that accelerated seeded precipitation of calcium from treated sewage wastewater was largely ineffective if carried out without pre-treatment of the wastewater. Evidence was presented that suggests that phosphate may be a major interfering substance for the seeded precipitation of calcium from this type of wastewater. A pH adjustment to 9.5 followed by a 1-h equilibration period was found to be an effective pre-treatment for the removal of interferences. Calcium carbonate seed addition at 10 g l−1 to wastewater that had been pre-treated in this way was found to result in calcium precipitation from supersaturated level at 60 mg l−1 to saturated level at 5 mg l−1. Approximately 90% reduction of the calcium level occurred 5 min after seed addition. A further 10% reduction was achieved 30 min after seed addition.  相似文献

The discharge of wastewater from sewage treatment plants is one of the most common forms of pollution to river ecosystems, yet the effects on aquatic invertebrate assemblages have not been investigated in a controlled experimental setting. Here, we use a mesocosm approach to evaluate community responses to exposure to different concentrations of treated wastewater effluents over a two week period. Multivariate analysis using Principal Response Curves indicated a clear, dose-effect response to the treatments, with significant changes in macroinvertebrate assemblages after one week when exposed to 30% effluent, and after two weeks in the 15% and 30% effluent treatments. Treatments were associated with an increase in nutrient concentrations (ammonium, sulfate, and phosphate) and reduction of dissolved oxygen. These findings indicate that exposure to wastewater effluent cause significant changes in abundance and composition of macroinvertebrate taxa and that effluent concentration as low as 5% can have detectable ecological effects.  相似文献

This paper discusses the occurrence and removal of endocrine disrupting chemicals (EDCs) in Horsham sewage treatment plant (STP), West Sussex, UK. Photodegradation aided by a catalyst (TiO(2)) was studied for its efficiency of removing EDCs from wastewater. The degradation of estrone and 17beta-estradiol under natural sunlight followed a pseudo-first-order kinetics, with a rate constant of 0.01h(-1). The degradation by sunlight is also independent of initial chemical concentration, suggesting some potential of using this environmentally friendly method for waste minimisation. In comparison, more efficient degradation was observed with UV irradiation (253nm), with the rate constants being increased to 2.7 and 2.5h(-1) for the two compounds. Subsequent application of the photocatalysis method to real effluent treatment at Horsham STP was successful, as demonstrated by the non-detection of the target compounds following treatment.  相似文献

The removal of estrogenic chemicals during wastewater reclamation has been a great concern. Current advanced treatment processes are inefficient for the removal of estrogenic chemicals from secondary effluents of municipal wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) due to the coexistence of other pollutants with less environmental significance which are also removed simultaneously. The search for highly selective and low-cost removal methods is warranted. Therefore, surface-molecular-imprinted polymer-modified TiO2 nanotube (S-MIP-TiO2 NT) photocatalysts were fabricated, characterized, and tested for the removal of estrogenic pollutants from wastewater in this study for the first time. Scanning electron microscopy and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy studies showed that the TiO2 NTs (with an average diameter of 60 nm) were successfully imprinted with functional groups (i.e., carboxyl). The adsorption selectivity and photocatalytic activity of the S-MIP-TiO2 NTs towards template compound (17β-estradiol, E2) were improved, compared with neat TiO2 NTs. Interestingly, S-MIP-TiO2 NTs exhibited higher adsorption intensity and photocatalytic selectivity at low concentrations (from 10 ng/L to 100 μg/L, as normal estrogenic chemical concentrations in secondary effluents) of E2 than that at high concentrations (from 10 to 1,000 mg/L). It was also found that some representative estrogenic chemicals and estrogenic activity could be selectively and rapidly removed from secondary effluents of municipal wastewater treatment plants using S-MIP-TiO2 NTs as photocatalysts. In addition, S-MIP-TiO2 NT photocatalysts exhibited excellent regeneration characteristics. Photocatalytic treatment using S-MIP-TiO2 NTs could be a promising approach for the effective removal of estrogenic chemicals from secondary effluents of municipal WWTPs.  相似文献

采用酸催化的溶胶-凝胶法制备了一系列Fe^3+掺杂TiO2/凹凸棒(Fe^3+-TiO2/ATP)复合光催化剂材料。在可见光条件下,以亚甲基蓝(MB)溶液的光催化降解反应,评价了样品的光催化性能,研究了TiO2负载量、Fe^3+掺杂量和焙烧温度对复合材料光催化性能的影响。在单因素实验的基础上,采用正交实验设计(L25(53))优化了催化剂的制备条件。光催化实验结果表明,MB在复合材料上的光催化降解反应遵循Langmuir-Hinshelwood(L-H)动力学模型。正交实验结果表明,当TiO2负载量为15%、Fe^3+掺杂量为0.5%和焙烧温度为550℃时,得到的复合材料对MB的光催化降解效率最佳,测得表观反应速率常数kapp为6.09×10^-3min^-1,反应4 h后MB的降解率(Dt)可达75.88%,相同实验条件下与P25(1.51×10^-3min^-1)相比较,反应速率提高了4.03倍,降解率提高了45.05%。另外,复合材料的沉降性能优于P25,易于分离,是一类有应用前景的复合光催化剂。敏世雄王芳魏立强王永生冯雷佟永纯韩玉琦  相似文献

Two tree species, Acacia nilotica (L.) Del. and Casuarina equisetifolia Forst., were tested for their tolerance and growth on dyestuff wastewater containing phenol, aniline, and methyl violet. The wastewater was treated microbially by using a culture of Pseudomonas alcaligenes in a fixed-film bioreactor. The plants were watered with untreated and treated wastewater and tap water (control) at the rate of 2 litre per plant per week. A. nilotica exhibited 100% survival with both untreated and treated wastewater, and growth (increase in height) was comparable to that of control plants. However, growth of C. equisetifolia was adversely affected. It exhibited 100% survival with treated wastewater but only 87% survival with untreated waste-water and the percentage increase in height was less with both treated and untreated wastewater. There was no effect on soil except for an increase in chloride content.  相似文献

The water chemistry, toxicity, and biodegradation of wastewater from an industry producing mineral fibres for thermal insulation were studied. Values for COD, BOD5, suspended solids, and phenol exceeded permissible values for the wastewater discharged into a nearby river and acute toxicity was also detected. Consequently, the effluent should be treated in a municipal wastewater treatment plant so its ready biodegradability was investigated. We found that the wastewater was readily biodegradable, therefore we assume it can be treated in the wastewater treatment plant as the ratio of the wastewater flow rate and the minimal total inflow into the sewage treatment plant would be one to at least 30.  相似文献
